She’s arguably one of the most stylish young actresses of our generation. And whether she’s walking the red carpet or boarding an aeroplane, Blake Lively’s sense of fashion never seems to falter.
The 26-year-old looked super trendy in a pair of ankle-grazing black trousers, blue shirt and leather bomber jacket as she walked through New York’s JFK airport to catch a flight. Blake finished off her look with a large black floppy hat and black and white spats-style shoes.
Blake is clearly a fan of her new headpiece, as she was previously seen wearing the hat on a day out christmas shopping with husband Ryan Reynolds in Los Angeles last week.
It remains to be seen just what Blake and Ryan are doing for Christmas this year, but the pair are sure to be celebrating together over the festive period.
And Blake recently revealed what her dream present from her hunky spouse would be – although she admits that him actually getting it for her may ‘bankrupt’ the actor.
Speaking of a pair of circular Van Cleef & Arpels earrings, Blake said: ‘Their estate pieces are incredible, because they show how timeless Van Cleef is.’ But Blake added: ‘There will also be the bankruptcy commercials for us [if we got them]!’
After Christmas, Blake will be travelling to Dubai where she will attend an event for Gucci Première fragrance, for which she is the face. The event, on January 3rd at The Dubai Mall’s Galeries Lafayette, will mark Blake’s first public appearance in the UAE.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds left their London hotel for Luton Airport, where they hopped on a private jet yesterday. Before catching their flight, the couple left their hotel and grabbed dinner at Nobu in Mayfair. Blake and Ryan have been on the go for the past few weeks after kicking off the month in the UK at the Chime For Change benefit concert. It was their first official appearance as a married couple, after they tied the knot in a surprise ceremony last Fall.
Aside from the event, Ryan and Blake have had a pretty low-key year as newlyweds, but things will soon pick up since Ryan will get started promoting R.I.P.D.before it hits theaters next month. He also has Selfless, which recently got a Fall 2014 release date, in the works but will no longer be taking part in the Highlander reboot since it was announced that he dropped out of the role last week.
Blake on the other hand, has been “apparently” trying to focus on her career rather than becoming a mum – close friends say Ryan is however, desperate to have kids.
Blake Lively certainly made the most out of her stay in cultural London this week as she shopped for antiques with her brother-in-law. The actress headed to Rose Uniacke’s self titled antique store in Pimlico on Friday, as she browsed for new goods to fill her LA home with.
Keeping things casual for her shopping trip, the star opted for a yellow tunic style top and shorts, showing off her enviable slim pins as she chatted and joked with the staff. Showing off her close relationship with Ryan’s family, the 25-year-old was accompanied by her brother-in-law, who was no doubt providing her with some male advice on any purchases made The pair looked head over heels for each other as they canoodled backstage during the day’s events.
The Sound Of Change concert is part of Gucci’s new global campaign for girls’ and women’s empowerment, and is being broadcast across six continents to more than 150 countries, with more than one billion people expected to see it in total. The charity concert was put into motion with the Chime For Change initiative, which aims to raise awareness of education, health and justice for women everywhere. A number of musical stars took to the stage to perform such as Beyonce, Madonna, Jennifer Lopez and Rita Ora.
Bedford resident Blake Lively may have a recipe of sorts for you. Check out the YouTube video posted by Vogue features the actress and model Elettra Wiedemann at Richard Gere’s Bedford Post Inn. There she whips up a puff pastry for the first installment of Elettra’s Goodness, a new online cooking series.
Lively, 25, and Wiedemann chat—about family members, fashion, home renovations and more—as the former explains she doesn’t cook with a recipe. She even teaches Wiedemann how to crack an egg with one hand.
After moving to Bedford last year, Lively and husband Ryan Reynolds have been spotted around the area, and just last month they were in the midst of kitchen renovations.
