Blake candidly opening up about Ryan her other half – who she married in 2012 – as she talks to Glamour magazine that their friendship manage to the lay the foundations for a loving relationship and has been vital in overcoming conflict.
And while a girl’s girl, she insisted that unlike previous romances she now goes to Ryan for advice and a shoulder to cry rather than her girlfriends.
She began: ‘In other relationships, if something came up, I would call my girlfriends, or my sister, and say, “Hey, this is what he did – what should I do?”
‘Whereas with him (Ryan Reynolds), we were friends for two years before we were ever dating. And I treat him like my girlfriend.
‘I’m like, “Hey, this happened. It upset me. This is how I feel. What do I do?” And he does the same for me. He treats me like his best buddy.’
While gushing about their respect for one another, Blake gave fans of her husband’s Twitter account – which has amassed over 6.5million followers – some insight into the thought process behind his hilarious tweets that tend to focus on their daughters.
The former Gossip Girl actress – who shares daughters James, two, and 10-month-old Ines with the Hollywood actor – admitted that he makes-up most of his ‘scenarios’ for comic value but it’s what she loves about him.

They hold the Hollywood power couples’ crown for some of the cutest red carpet moments. And as Blake Lively glittered at the Met Gala on Monday night, actor Ryan Reynolds simply couldn’t hide his adoration.
The 29-year-old looked fierce in a plunging gold gown, setting the blue carpet alight with an electric, feathered flame design at the train.
The eclectic ensemble by Atelier Versace made the starlet look like a tropical goddess. Blake’s gown had her body draped in golden chains rather than fabric, still expertly hugging the Age Of Adaline actress’s svelte figure.
On top her gown dipped low to reveal her tanned chest while the long-sleevedfrock transitioned into a wild feather train. Making a bold contrast with its gilded top, Blake’s train consisted of gold and blue feathers, trailing behind her elegantly.

Blake met up with besties Amber Tamblyn and America Ferrera at two Women’s Marches on Saturday, January 21st 2017.
Blake and Amber cmet up in New York City amid huge crowds of protesters marching toward Trump Tower. Tamblyn, who announced her first pregnancy with husband David Cross in October, has been vocal in her disdain for the new president, and even revealed a highly personal story about a past sexual assault via an Instagram post in October. She later explained that she decided to share her horrifying story in response to Trump’s lewd 2005 conversation with former Access Hollywood host Billy Bush.
“That part of my body, which the current Presidential Nominee of the United States Donald Trump recently described as something he’d like to grab a woman by, was bruised from my ex-boyfriend’s violence for at least the next week,” Tamblyn wrote. “I had a hard time wearing jeans. I couldn’t sleep without a pillow between my legs to create space.”
Blake may not have brought her handsome husband Ryan Reynolds to the People’s Choice Awards, but she made it perfectly clear he belongs to her.
Accepting the award for Favourite Dramatic Movie Actress for her role in The Shallows, the star slipped a special mention into her speech.
“Thank you to my husband, he’s everything to me,” she said. That’s when a fan began screaming at the mere mention of Reynolds. “You can’t have him, he’s mine!” Blake yelled in jest.
The Gossip Girl star beat out other leading ladies Amy Adams, Emily Blunt, Julia Roberts, and Meryl Streep for the gong. During her speech, she also took the opportunity to send a powerful message.
“My mum, she always taught me as a kid that you can’t ever let anyone limit you. Don’t ever let anyone tell you there’s something you can’t do,” she said, adding her first goal as a youngster was to join the Spice Girls.
“What was so neat about them was that they’re all do distinctly different, and they were women, and they owned who they were, and that was my first introduction into girl power,” she said. “Watching this movie, and the women nominated in this category — when you guys voted for this, you didn’t just vote for this movie or me, but you voted for girl power. … And men voted for girl power, too, and you guys are awesome for doing that.”
She thanked voters for “sending a message to Hollywood that people want to hear stories about women”.
Blake stunned at the 74th Annual Golden Globes held at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles last night. The 29-year-old star wowed in a plunging black gown as she was joined by her husband Ryan Reynolds, 40, who was nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for his role in Deadpool.
