Blake Lively’s Pregnancy Announcement outfit SELLS OUT

Blake Lively only announced her pregnancy last week, but it seems she is already providing plenty of fashion inspiration for other mothers-to-be. The $148 top and $178 skirt she wore to share her happy news with the world have both already sold out, the couple behind Sam & Lavi, Sam Arasteh and Lavi Mirzak, told MailOnline.

‘We have many sell out items, but since her recent post we’ve sold out of our Lyna top in Wild Orchid and Seren skirt,’ the husband-and-wife team revealed in an email. ‘The response has been great and we are so happy for her and Ryan.’

And it looks like we can expect to see the actress in other items from the label too: Mr Arasteh and Ms Mirzak say the 27-year-old ‘owns many pieces’ – and as it is not a maternity label, she will likely wear them after her baby is born too. Ms Lively, who has insisted in the past that she does not have a stylist, discovered Sam & Lavi of her own accord, the couple revealed.

‘Since then, [she has] developed a fondness for our brand,’ they said.

And the star is not the only celebrity fan to have worn Sam & Lavi. Jessica Alba has been seen in the Evelyne skirt, fleece Ayla top and Lacie pants in the past month alone, Olivia Munn has worn the Aqua shorts and Alessandra Ambrosio has been seen in the Elizabeth top and Lesley dress.  Ms Mirzak is the design talent behind the print-focused line, while Mr Arasteh is the business brains.

Describing her aesthetic, she says: ‘My knowledge of textiles has given me the training to create unique ways to play with fabrics. We take pride in offering cutting edge techniques of printing and dying and bringing this to our collections, to tell a beautiful story each season.’

The actress’s due date was not shared with readers, but it has been speculated that she may be five or six months along already.

BREAKING NEWS: Blake Lively Expecting Baby With Ryan Reynolds

Blake Lively has revealed that she is expecting her first child with her husband Ryan Reynolds!!! She announced the news on her website, Preserve, alongside a photo of her cradling her small bump. Lively, 27, and Reynolds, 37, met on The Green Lantern in 2010 and married in a small, private ceremony in Charleston, South Carolina in 2011.

The (HQ) photo, taken by the Gossip Girl star’s brother Eric Lively, was accompanied by a statement about family and photos of other pregnant women. It read:

“Preserve at its core is about family. ‘Family’ is the single word our founder, Blake built this home on.

“We have something for men, for women, for the old, but we realised, we don’t have anything for the new.

“With family on our mind, we looked to the origin of it all – to the women in our lives who are right there, at that special moment; at the creation of family.”

The couple have spoken frequently about wanting children and their desire for similarly large families to the ones they grew up in. Blake told Marie Claire magazine: “If I could spit out a litter of kids, I would.”

Blake covers Fashion Magazine Canada

Blake Lively has spent nearly a decade in an industry she initially had no interest in pursuing, but from the moment she appeared on TV screens in Gossip Girl, there’s been no denying her allure—just ask Leonardo DiCaprio, who was so under her spell, he engaged in several PDAs during their brief dalliance (we still want to know how she pulled that off). Today she’s married to Canada’s own Ryan Reynolds, has worked with Oscar winning directors such as Oliver Stone and Ben Affleck and this past summer launched Preserve, her own lifestyle website.

Amid the frenzy of the Cannes Film Festival and her duties as an official spokesperson for L’Oreal Paris back in May, Lively sat down with FASHION’s beauty director Lesa Hannah to discuss Hollywood, cakes and that time she visited babies in Sudbury with Reynolds.

On avoiding Hollywood at first:
“It was never that I didn’t want to be an actor because I thought it was a bad industry. It was just that my whole family did it and I wanted to do something different. I was the youngest of five kids and I wanted to create my own path and my own sort of legacy.”

On her announced visit to the pediatric unit of a Sudbury hospital last year:
“I have six nieces and nephews, so for me, children are really what gets my heart going. I’ve spent time at St. Jude’s in the States and so any chance I get to go to a children’s hospital, I do. I try to do that in a way that’s it’s on a more personal level, but that one became sort of a public thing that we didn’t intend, but it’s great to do that.”

On how her mom’s cakes made her see the power of baking:
“She just created a whole life, a personality out of this thing. It was very much art and a celebration, and it made every holiday so special. I would be so proud when she would bring them into my class, and all of the kids in school would just freak out. She would let other kids help decorate too. And I suffer from the opposite, I’m very precious about it, it has to be perfect.”

On Age of Adaline, her first movie post-Gossip Girl.
“I really wanted some time to myself and to focus on other things that I loved, so that when I did it again I would be really re-invigorated. And it took a movie that I really couldn’t say ‘no’ to, you know, because there’s plenty that I would have done, but it was really important to have that time. So when I read that one, I said, ‘I can’t not be in this movie, I have to do this movie.’”
