On Set Shooting Age Of Adaline

Blake looked gorgeous in a vibrant yellow coat as she shot scenes with a female co-star of their new film Age Of Adaline in Los Angeles.

The blonde wore a pretty cream dress that featured frills down the chest. During shooting, Blake wore a chic yellow hat and sported a slick of red lipstick. She and her co-star happily walked along together when the cameras were rolling.

At one point, Blake took a seat and was seen reapplying her make-up with a deft touch.  She wore her blonde hair in tight, retro waves and opted for a smokey eye along with her red lip.

Blake appeared to be having a ball as she gave a dazzling smile while filming.

Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 3?

There are no deals in place with cast, but Alloy Entertainment is hoping the Fab Four will return “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” is getting another sequel, as Alloy Entertainment is developing “Sisterhood Everlasting,” which is based on the book of the same title by bestselling author Ann Brashares, the company announced on Wednesday.

While there are no deals in place with the original cast, Blake Lively, Alexis Bledel, America Ferrara and Amber Tamblyn have expressed interest in reprising their roles and are in various stages of discussions to return, an individual familiar with the sequel told TheWrap.

One member of the original “Sisterhood” is set to return, as Ken Kwapis will return to direct from a screenplay by Liz Garcia, who will adapt Brashares’ novel.

“Sisterhood Everlasting” finds that the four friends have grown apart in the ten years since the last film in the franchise, though Tibby tries to bridge the distance by reuniting the girls for a trip that will change their lives forever.

“The Sisterhood series is one of Alloy’s most cherished properties and we are looking forward to continuing its legacy with ‘Sisterhood Everlasting’ nearly a decade after the first film was released,” said Alloy president Leslie Morgenstein, who will produce with Elysa Dutton and Christine Sacani. “The original film brought together an incredible group of talent who we hope to unite for fans once again.”

Along with Alcon Entertainment, Alloy was responsible for the first two “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” films that were released in 2005 and 2008.

Blake injures herself on set of The Age Of Adaline

Blake Lively suffered an injury during filming of The Age Of Adaline in Vancouver, Canada earlier this week. The 26-year-old was seen gasping as she discovered the bloody wound, after reportedly slipping and falling down a hill. But after inspecting her wound the actress began laughing and ever the professional, it wasn’t long until she was back to work.

Blake, who plays the lead in the film, was wearing a blue woolly cardigan and a pale blue headband in a fifties style. She was joined on set by her co-star who didn’t look too concerned by Blake’s injury but he did come over to inspect her wound. Poor Blake!

Barbie: The Movie

Barbie is coming to a screen near you. And not in doll form – this foray into cinema will see a real-life actress (or actor?) bring the famous character to life in a new comedy that Sony Pictures are hoping to begin shooting by the end of the year. So, it got us thinking… who should step into Barbie’s immaculate, high-heeled shoes? Hollywood being Hollywood, there are plenty of glossy blonde actresses available, from Blake Lively and Amanda Seyfried to Dakota Fanning and Margot Robbie.

Or producers could opt for a less glamorous choice, say, Katie Price? Or Paris Hilton?  There’s always original Barbie Girl songstress Lene Nystrøm of Aqua fame, or Moldovian-Ukrainian model Valeria Lukyanova, dubbed “Human Barbie” thanks to her resemblance to the famous figurine. And if casting agents are feeling particularly left-field, they could always consider a bloke for the role. Orlando Bloom’s Legolas certainly had the blonde, flowing locks, or if they’re looking for someone au natural there’s always Chris Hemsworth or, er, Robbie Savage?

Elle US April 2014

After a year of off-the-radar bliss, Blake Lively is gearing up for a return to the spotlight—and flashing just enough of that blowy glamour and authentic, slightly goofy warmth to let us know in no uncertain terms: Yep, she’s still Hollywood’s golden-est girl. First on her itinerary? A potentially world-changing partnership with Gucci.

As the face of Gucci Premiére fragrance, she’s been involved in the brand’s massively successful Chime for Change charity initiative, which kicked off with a megaconcert in London last year (“It was very exciting to hear the audience cheer just as much for a woman who had broken out of a horrible life cycle in India as for Madonna”) and has since raised close to $5 million, funding more than 260 projects that benefit women in 81 countries. Starting in April, purchasers of Gucci perfumes (via Macy’s or Macys.com) will be able to donate a $5 portion of the price to a charity of their choice via the Chime for Change website. “Sure, you can buy the fragrance and then not go online, but then you’re the jerk,” Lively says. “This makes the consumer an active participant by giving them responsibility.”

Blake Lively on her yearlong break from acting: “Having a personal life has been really nice. I’d been on Gossip Girl 10 months a year for six years, shooting 15-hour days, so I hadn’t had time to just be since I graduated from high school. It’s been nice to kind of settle into my own skin and work on things I really love.”

How her own personal style is starting to evolve: “The older I get, I guess I wear less sparkles. And I know that someday my knees are going to look like elephant knees. But for now, my hemlines are still pretty high.”

This article appears in the April 2014 issue of ELLE on newsstands March 25. We have also added HQ photos by Cedric Buchet to the gallery in addition to the mag scans.

Blake Lively in The Age of Adaline

Blake Lively is moving into the movie-star big leagues. The Gossip Girl actress is currently filming scenes for The Age of Adaline which also stars Ellen Burstyn and Harrison Ford.

Lively plays Adaline, a woman who stops aging following an accident. The plot “follows the miraculous life of the 29-year-old title character, who stops aging after recovering from a near-fatal accident. Over the 20th century she embarks on an epic but isolated worldwide journey, keeping her secret, until she meets a man who forever alters her life.”

The role is the actress’s first since the 2012 film Savages. Academy Award-winning Burstyn, 81, will appear as Adaline’s mother. Michiel Huisman — best known for his role on Game of Thrones — also stars in the film, playing Blake Lively’s love interest in the upcoming film. Kathy Baker and Amanda Crew round out the cast.

Lively, 26, and Burstyn were spotted in the Gastown District of Vancouver, Canada late last week having lunch together as they prepared to shoot scenes for the movie scheduled to be released in 2015.

Seems like the Lively-Reynolds household is busy, busy, busy. Blake‘s husband Ryan Reynolds is slated to take on the role of a lawyer in the upcoming film The Woman in Gold with another Academy Award-winner, Helen Mirren.
